Andy's Purple Armageddon, or APA

This drink is traditionally consumed in pint glasses. This can be quite hazardous, as it makes you drunk "from the legs up". This property, combined with a taste much closer to skittles than alcohol can surprise the unwary.

The ingredients are as follows:

• 2 shots, Archers (or any peach schnapps)
• 2 shots, Blue Curacao (this is essential, do not replace with any other 'blue coloured' alcohol)
• 2 shots, Smirnoff (or any other vodka)
• 1 shot, blackcurrant cordial (or Creme de Cassis if you can find it)
• 1 small bottle (275ml), Smirnoff Ice (in extremis, this can be replaced by a combination of lemonade and more vodka)

For a cheaper, less expensive version, use single shots of the spirits.

In measures, that is something like:

• 2 measures, Archers
• 2 measures, Blue Curacao
• 2 measures, Smirnoff
• 1 measure, blackcurrant cordial
• 9 measures, Smirnoff Ice
